first off let me say i like the new racing system. It looks great and has alot of content. But ....whats the point? It seems you can't win money. You can't sell your tricked out cars. I haven't seen any mention of merits for wins or whatever. So besides bragging rights whats the point?

create a race and make it as much as you want...u can win lots of money, its like casino

well this figures my best time was 3:15:59 on this track i put upgrades into car and my best time for the same track gos up not down think you need a little more work ched :/

Class A better take a long time to unlock by the time people get to class A all the rich people have an advantage of the expensive cars.

I'm happy with the racing changes. someone asked what the point was besides bragging rights as you can't sell the car or win money...I realize that is in game that you are talking about but honestly... what is the point of playing Torn at all? I mean you don't win any real life money, you don't win anything... What's the point? Perhaps if you can answer that, you can answer the reason to race. What is wrong with just doing something for the enjoyment and not a reward?
Someone else complained about upgrades and getting lesser times. you are not racing alone but with 5 other players. If the faster car is stuck behind a slower car, their time will be affected by that. And if the upgraded car changes something, it might make the car quicker, but it might make it handle differently so there is more braking to compensate for the improvements. Besides tracks run differently each race. I think that it is more true to life that you are not guaranteed a better time just because of improvements. You did not say if your place in the race improved. that is more telling. If you upgrade your car, chances are you will end up doing well more often. Not always tho because you might get in a race where everyone has made improvements.

Love the new racing - love the waiting.
Before you just had to settle for loosing against the top tens every time, now you have a chance.
I see no problem with there being no winning price as the entry is for free. Maybe it would be nice if the higher classes cost an entry fee and give prices, but I´m still an amateur and I´m busy buying over priced crappy cars and stripping them of their interiors
Sadly my over pimped Vauxhall doesn´t win so many races. Must be a bug, that this fantastic car is rated this low in performance - it´s a copy/renamed version of a cheap German car - in any well balanced racing game it would kick ass - or at least touch ass....
