everyone keep voting we need more players and donators for this game so chedburn can keep doing such a great job!
anyways why do you people care how much money he makes from the game he's doing a great job! he deserves it all!
if the other coders and staff aren't getting paid why is that such a bad thing? it's not like anyone is forcing them to contribute. they do it on their own to make this great game even better! thanks staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i always vote, i think it was the right decision to change from 15 energy to 15 casino tokens because most uk people never gained anything from the energy coz it wasin sleep time so was always full in morning nyway.
keep up the good work, and if people who are here are complaining about one extra click when so much work has gone into this site they really shudnt be here - lazy *"£"%&!"
so what if we don't think torncity is the best game?? what if its not that good you have to realise that some people don't think your gods gift ched mate. sorry but thats just how it is
i always vote i love those points
not getting 15+ energy and instead getting 15+ tokens has not affected my voting because, i am never online when the energy is suppose to be received and have my max energy when that 15+ is suppose to go on so its a waste.
with 15 extra tokens it doesnt matter what time i get on its still there

Well, maybe because of the frequent downtimes, recent data loss.
BUT THAT'S JUST MY OPINION.
oh and how about the fact now that instead of giving us something when we vote for you. you give us something that takes are money. casino tickets, what a waste, before atleast we got an extra set of energy. cuz out of 15 tixkets, how often will someone win money off them. maybe 1 out of 1000. now all we got are these messages at the top of our home page asking us to vote. what an eye swore.
We provide Torn City for free. Certainly for the non-donators, you should feel it is your duty to vote. Give something back to Torn City, it is all that we ask. There is no reason why every single player here today shouldn't have voted.
ironic that he mentions giving TC for free when he is asking us to vote so he can make more money. Not saying its wrong, just ironic.
I agree with a lot of the others in here that the casino tokens do Nothing for me. I don't use the casino. The extra energy a night was good, points are a lot better.... it seems you're avoiding money though. When I first signed up there were four different voting links in place, each with its own rewards. Then it was pared down to three. Then two. Then you could only get the incentive once a week (if you timed it JUST right, or your point for the week would be forfeit). Frankly the reason I stopped voting for the most part is it has lost any incentive for me. Yes, it doesn't take that long, and if I get the red reminder at log in, I'll do it. But would it kill you to be a little more generous? How about if you don't want to offer the plus 15 energy per day anymore, forget the tokens, why not offer something like $500 for it? (TC money of course for all the greedy souls out there). Or even just $100. But as a lot of others have said, we players (especially the veterans and donators) have been very patient, especially lately. The past six months have not been smooth for players on this site. But we've stayed, and a lot of us have done it with smiles and support. Stayed through all the lags, all the crashes, all the downtime, all the upgrades that don't do anything but clog up the works. All the bugs, we've duely reported. All the aggrivations, we've taken in stride (for the most part). Yes the game is free, and for that we thank you. But there are those of us who pay for it, in the form of donations. How about throwing us a tangible bone, instead of dazzling us with 'upgrades'? I was happy with it the way it was, before the drag racing, the companies, the flooded pet store, the drugs (when you actually had to put time in to improve stats etc), before the crimes started paying less and successes weren't so hard to come by, when you could bust somebody out of jail, when the bank had good interest. When we had voting incentives and a lot less hassle just to play the game.
And the others are right about something else too. Why should we be duty-bound to vote? If it's mandatory, you might as well drop the 'please' in front of that statement, and add 'or else' at the end.
I think everyone in Torncity is just hateful twords Ched, because everyone blames him for all the problems, so whatever he says people generaly find fault in it. Nothing worse than a bunch of angry gamers.

Actually I've been very supportive of Ched and TC in general in the past. I simply did not in any way shape or form agree with this post of his. It was uncalled for.
There's also the fact that a lot of us have the same problem of getting the whole ' your ip address is already in our records for this 24 hours, blah blah blah '. I stopped voting every day because I don't ever get a ' counted ' vote. Maybe if they fix that then there will actually be more votes . . . But, what would I know, I've just been here for over 700 days . . .
I think the message at the beginning is a bit offensive.
I don't gamble and to be truthful I am still stinging from my hundreds of lost points. And no I never got the cash back, my points were on the market so they just went "poof" with the server crash. To date I see no evidence that a single staff member gives a hoot.
I have chosen not to vote as I do not feel that I should recommend a game to others when many members of staff show such disrespect towards players.
"Ever mind the Rule of Three, three times what thou givest returns to thee, this lesson well, thou must learn, thee only gets what thou dost earn."
people don't vote because it is annoying to write thos damn letters (why can't you just say yes?) and if someone makes a mistake he must start again.
And the prizes don't seem much (1 vote a week, 500 votes=1 merit).
I vote, though, 80% of the time
