I mean I like the game and all... but this might be the second one I've seen go down in flames due to incompetent leadership, which is really sad. TC has so much potential -_-

Where were 4 separate backups at 4 locations that are manually checked. When the server crashed. Oh i forgot that wasnt your fault.

THe freakin US defence has better backups/people/coders/firewalls etc etc etc but THEY still get hacked. Stupid stupid boy. |

ok im not saying im a hacker or anything but im just showing something that pretty much drops chedbuns theory that tc is unhackable. but im not saying that what im showing is from the result of a hack but merly something that can be done on one website that u can find on google.

just one last thing while i sit here and laugh at chedburn. is im a web site designer and iv made and ran 2 sites as well as code for about 3-4 more sites and in the whole time that iv made and ran or even coded for any of them sites iv never once said this site is unhackable. cause if its on the web its "hackable"

When you know how to code, you know how to hack. script kiddies and crackers are ones that use pre built progrmas or a highly known security loophole in which the "crack" is plastered all over Internet for those to use.[/color] |
No B2B Caode was right, a hacker is someone who modifies the original source code of something e.g. halo 2...
All script kiddies do are use pre coded applications to try and break security or make malicious attacks on a server, e.g. A Zombie IRC DoS attack.
A cracker can use pre built but generally doesn't, normally they either make their own applications or do it the old fashioned way.

What the hell are they thanking him for?
It's not like he took the time and effort to compensate the hunters, or make sure there are decent backups, or simply be honest with us about stolen accounts (instead of suddenly asking eveyone to change their password, because they felt like it to do that.)

Well if he would start to use md5 encryption hackers wouldn't be a problem when it comes down to steal passwords and emails.
Also Chedburn is ignoring my report on invalid HTML errors. I have HIGHLIGHTED one of the invalid codes in the forum!

Well he failed, to hack TC isn't very hard, all web pages is possible to hack.
And it's unprofessional to not use md5 encryption as it's the only secure encryption that is!
