Beater i have a ton more stuff than you do that i collected in halloween and christmas town. All of that stuff has done nothing for me. It would have been cool if we could have at least displayed those items, but we couldnt. Since i havnt been able to use them anyway, or show them...i dont really care if they are gone i guess...especially if its for something new, with prizes that i can actually display use and/or sell.
I hear you but do think its for the better in the long run...i mean really...you cant use or show any of that stuff anyway.
Oh and why does me voicing my opinion make it alright for staff to treat me like a d!@*??? Go look at my profile the whole exchange with wolfeh is right there.
Halloween and Christmas town where a joke for me... only good thing there was the candy i like candy...
candy made me so happy and full of energy...
but all other items "collectables" are useless. i cant sell them. i cant use them - like i got some special item i can only use or smthin. nothing these items do nothing... there is just a list.
i cant even look at my collected items - there are no pictures...
so what good is for me for having a wooden hammer when i can get a real hammer from Big Al's with only $75, and smash heads with that jeah baby...
so Yes! I want a new Halloween / Christmas Town!

lol Beater, Just use the candy, I have less days than you and about twice the useless stuff and I voted for a new system as i figured the stuff would be useless when i got it. Seem if you had been playing the whole time you would have figured that out too. So no its not all noobs voting for the change, obviously from the numbers there are more than a few experienced players voting for a new system.
Also far fewer noobs use the forums than older players.
i vote yes, but i dont see why we would need to lose what we already have. if a new system is going to come into play, just leave the old stuff as it is, and dont use it any longer. we can keep our stuff, and have the new improved system take its place.

Those are the items you can find under Holiday items.
The mistletoe, snowman and stuff like that aren't under Holiday items. You can display them and trade them. So they will be kept,
OOOH NOOO not lost all together I worked hard for my collectable items and spent a lot of time in jail, energy and cash on busting players out of jail and used a lot of SFAKs on getting the collectable items and now they are going to be lost:(
I dont care about the other unuseable items but at least release some of the collectable items to be traded or sold before complete removal of the old Halloween and Christmas town

Thats fine I'm for a new system. My point was why do we always get jacked in the process? I got squat for my dogs, I'm not going to get the 5mill i put into my race car back. That's all i'm saying.
well i never got dogs and was racing a honda with only one upgrade because i was stupid and raced without reading a guide so i cant speak on those but id rather lose my old items than continue to collect useless items

We’d like to massively change Halloween and Christmas town. The systems would be completely re- built from the ground up in single areas (not several). We’d like to add tons of new useable and tradable in- game items. Hundreds and hundreds of outcomes, storylines you need to partake in, obstacles you need to overcome, chests you need to unlock.... All kinds of really cool stuff that we’ve been planning this past year.
However, unfortunately it comes with a catch. It means complete removal of the Holiday items. All items you gained would be lost (although most of these are unusable anyway). The unique collectibles / weapons / armour you gain in the new systems will be useable and tradable.
We’d love to do this, please cast your vote!
Something I'm a little unclear on - if you're recoding the whole holiday town thing, what exactly is preventing you from leaving the code for the old items in place?
