We’d like to massively change Halloween and Christmas town. The systems would be completely re- built from the ground up in single areas (not several). We’d like to add tons of new useable and tradable in- game items. Hundreds and hundreds of outcomes, storylines you need to partake in, obstacles you need to overcome, chests you need to unlock.... All kinds of really cool stuff that we’ve been planning this past year.
However, unfortunately it comes with a catch. It means complete removal of the Holiday items. All items you gained would be lost (although most of these are unusable anyway). The unique collectibles / weapons / armour you gain in the new systems will be useable and tradable.

Yeah i could eat the candy, after all I ate the rare to boost chains etc. But the stuff we were told for years is "rare or collectible item" should be left or tradeable now for something. Hell give us a merit at the least for collecting every type of collectible during halloween or christmas for each year we participated.
Thats over 250 non usable items that i'm happy to leave in my display case to show how much effort I've put into playing the game, and you want to just delete it.
How about recognition for past achievements, with awards and merits for collection this old stuff.
Voted yes, but would be more enthusiastic about it if maybe the probability of getting keepable items was increased so there is a better chance of getting something usable.

This sounds like a good idea to me. Would be neat if we could decorate our current propriety with xmas lights during the event and you could see them sparkle on the index page

Again does this effect current tradeable and sellable collectable items like Snowman, or Snow GLobe 2009, orSantas Elf 2009 and so on?
The only people that think this is ok are the noobs that have not spent years on here accumulating holiday items. So once again what do I get for all my hard work and loyalty to Torn City??? A nice slap in the face. You took my dogs, you are in the process of taking my race car that i spent millions on and now all my holiday items that I've held onto for years because the rumors were that we would actually get to use them eventually. So poof there goes something else that I've spent time and millions of dollars on (bet these noobs don't know how expensive sfak's get around holiday time) Why can't I at least put them in my display case? I'm up for a revamp of the system but not at the price of losing
