omg it just took me 8 whole minutes to vote...whatever will I do?!
geez guys...whine much? you spend all day clicking on various Torn related things - gym, crimes, forums, casino etc...- so what is the difference with spending a few minutes clicking & voting for a game you all supposedly like?
I doubt I spend 8 minutes playing the game everyday but then I don't spend as much time as you here...how many forum posts?
one good thing came of it... SperMiks WoW server lol will investigate that tomorrow!

It takes a little longer then you think it does Ched. and it cost some of us a far bit of money to download that much. There are a lot of pages filled with pictures when you hit every vote.

It is time consuming however you put it. 10 minutes mucking about for NO GUARANTEED REWARD where you cannot even see if you have qualified for a chance!!!

How to improve suggestions:
- - Have a guaranteed reward. 1 point per vote? r 5 points if you vote on everything available that day?
- - Maybe introduce ''vote points''? Like job points? You get 1 point per qualified vote. You can collect these forever without them disapearing and then spend them like you can with company specials.
- - If you are sticking with the lottery like prize then split it up. Give it to multiple people each week! Show a status which tells the player when they qualify and have been entered in the raffle thing. Eg: "You do/don't qualify for this weeks raffle".
- - Less things to vote on? There is a few too many there occasionally.
Best option?
I beleive a system like job points and specials will be the best way..
- Get 1 'vote point' per successful vote. If you voted on 7 things in a day, you get 7 vote points.
- Have multiple specials to spend on
Very simple! Obviously the options and prices would be different but a variety of options on how loyal players are rewarded for their time voting (effectively promoting torn extensively) should be certain and guaranteed.
Technically, this system is very possible and should not require much time to code. The structure of a job points system can be used for the vote points and torn is already counting votes towards the ''times voted'' stat anyway.
Please quote and comment on this :) Hopefully it can be made into reality!

On average considering there are around 10 voting sites to vote on each month, about 7 to vote on each week, and only 5 each day...
If you keep up with your votes each day, you'll on average only have to vote 6 times a day. This equates to less than 60 seconds a day with a standard internet connection if they all have captcha (which they don't).
So care to explain why I keep getting more and more websites in the list even though i'm voting everyday?
I mean its not going up just one r two a day, today its gone up FOUR! Stop making us do all the work to fill your pocket buddy,
I believe this is the type of thing that they invented the hide a link feature for. I agree, it seems like more and more are added to the list. It takes 5 r so minutes to get through them all and that is assuming your votes go through the first time and it doesn't take multiple entries.
votings alright.....but yeah it is time consuming ... for just hopes of getting points.

5 sites a day? thats a joke, i voted last night, 9 times, and again today around 10 times. Why doesn't ched just wise up and be grateful for what he has in the 40,000 active people.
When i was starting off the one point from voting was very valuable, so what happens when new players join? They see the intense amount of voting they have to do and they stop playing the game.
Lots of players are busy with RL stuff and so can only log on for a few mins at a time and not very long, to have to dedicate that amount of time for no monetary gain is crazy.
Then they talk about the 5 merits, whats the bets that it is hundreds of votes before you get one r maby even more.
I think that there should be guaranteed rewards and thats my 2 cents
Well we spend hrs to regain energy to train with no complaints so why not vote for a game you love to play everyday...The more players the better I always say.No reason to say its to time consuming because its really not....I like the merits and would be happy with just that.
Some also might say wtf it adding more cash to the game and more inflation but if you think about it this will just flood us with points if that one winner gets it.Where do points go..Well E refills,dp status and more E refills so it only hurts ched really since it would be a flood of points not coming from buying dps.....Dont know why everyone complains about every little detail.Kk that's just my 2 cents and who really cares if you like it or not..

There speaks a Level50, who obviously does spend ALL day clicking, when not doing his chores. 8 minutes could have let you empty your mum's bins without being nagged....
1/ I don't spend my whole life on Torn...just a large chunk of itxP
2/ It's "her' not "his" tyvm.
3/ I've not lived at home for almost 14 years and I have a tenant to take my bins out for me.
Seriously though. It's 8 minutes out of my life voting for a game I obviously enjoy. I am sure that there have been a few suggestions to make it a bit more user friendly but I really don't understand why there is so much whining with how it is currently.
