If you keep up with your votes each day, you'll on average only have to vote 6 times a day. This equates to less than 60 seconds a day with a standard internet connection if they all have captcha (which they don't). |

To be honest rather than voting just earn the merits.... play russian roulette if you want more money quickly... there is a nack to it.... just don't bet all your money at once you can quite easily earn the money lost back with money saved.... no money left no way to earn back. Golden rule.

Its too bad that on the voting sites you are not able to completely voice a review of the game.
I personally think there could be better things to do with this game from a support perspective rather than marketing and profit. Then again, I do not benefit from this game in any way like the owners.
First and foremost as a dedicated player of the game, I would rather see a support style staff that actually policed this game rather than relying on same IP and then brushing off the physical complaints.
Think about that for a moment. Scamming is now legal, yet in most peoples point of view, scamming is cheating. Cheating however is in fact illegal in this game and one of the most hands off method, same IP, completely ruins the referral aspect.
I've referred either by the game mechanics r word of mouth over 60 people to this game. Most of which are co- workers, friends, and relatives.
I know I'm not alone with that and the worst part of that all is you'll never be able to play with those people closest to you because of same IP.
So instead of working towards making the game have a sort of value for people have played it for years the brains behind the operation would rather find new ways to line their pockets and generate more people to play the game.
People who do vote should probably read those sites to see what games are on the top

i vote as much as i can i pray most of the time that i will get the 10kpoints cos it is tc life changing money so hopefully one day the 10k points will come to me and nice ched also why is tc so slow bnr+ for the best rpg game in the world

are supposed to be rewarded for the good of the game is an understatement votes are what keeps the game in the lists failure to see the votes going up will only drp the actual votes from those lists in reality anyone here could set up there very own GAME review and vote sites so WHAT real advantage is there to actually vote the fact 1 winner gets 10k points is a joke the fact theres 10 + sites to vote on aswell is a joke this DOES NOT GAIN MORE PLAYERS
UPDATES new tasks jobs new things create new players having something totally different to what you are used to creates buzz creating buzz creates word of mouth creating word of mouth in turn goes back to buzz
in simple terms keep serving that lame @ss burger and people will turn vegetarian
seeming as i ONLY voted for the point and the tokens its certainly not wth me voting over 100 x per week for nothing
either bring the players new things to do r dont your choice doesnt really matter i enjoy reading and observing every comment people give here it makes my job easier in the long run to make a far greater challenging game ..

Screw it. It sure ain't only 5 votes a day and no way it is 60 seconds a day. It is more like 15-20 votes and 5 minutes a day (over 30 hours a year on some stupid voting).
Forget it, I will never vote.

I take the time to read all the post here, now i thing why the 90 percent just want to win something, i think why dont make it for the good of torn, for the god of the game, whats the problem about votting, 1, 2, 3, r 10 minutes it doesnt matter, the thing here is to help torn to grow if you think that individualist we are not going to grow in any sense, and we are showing the world that the personal interest are more important that the colective ones, we are part of torn, we make torn what it is, why? Because we are votting, a lot of us are donators, why dont think about what torn wins with these, no developers, torn this game this house of everyone of us if we are playing here is because we like it since first day here.
I lose mi weekly points but if torn is going to win i will do my best for it, and that is what makes me vote, the love to this city, the love to this game, its just a few minutes just do it because you like this game, you love this city, no for personal interest.

Also I personally would prefer you double the total prize and split it between 10 winners instead of one, that gives everyone more of a chance to win. 1 in tens of thousands is discouraging odds. |

voting takes me between 1 and 5 minutes. Still doesn't seem like much.
do you get entered in 10k pt drawing for each vote (like 14+ chances a week) r only if you do all your voting you get 1 chance?

for me, i sign in a few times a day and the few extra mins voting does make a difference. a lot of hastle for a VERY slim chance at a prize. seems like a tiny incentive.
i dont want to vote BUT can i have an option to get rid of that annoying tag telling me i havent voted?

I'm finding some of the sites don't have an option to vote and then within a few minutes of voting r next time logging in exactly the same load are back up again! I don't mind voting but it gets frustrating sometimes!

Unless I'm missing some huge pop up... isn't it just one line of text on your home page? Does it really matter all that much?
Anyway, here's a suggested solution:
On the preferences page, offer an option to "disable voting".
Those that don't like the new voting system can disable the reminders. Those that do like the new voting system can vote.

Voting is time consuming, but that's not the worst part. To vote makes you vulnerable to attack. For people at war, they sometimes can't spend that amount of time on the torn home page. You get off a plane, make your attacks, and get back on a plane. Either that r you spend time in the hospital where you can't vote. Maybe if you had the voting page available on another tab than the home page.

The fact that there is no real incentive to vote does make it a bit more tedious than it should be.
Not like I'm gonna win the 10k points.
There is also the problem of asking me to help the game get new players when I don't feel you are doing nearly enough to retain them. They join, then as soon as they try to participate they get shouted down as 'newbs' and bountied. No sense staying when the welcome mat comes in the form of 10 bounties by people that could care less about spending 100k.
So here's the deal I offer you. I will take the time to vote on all the sites as often as I can. In return, you turn the tables on the bountiers and only give them 10 bounties they can have placed at a single time. and I want to see staff take a firmer hand with veteran players that treat new players with complete disrespect. e.g. if somebody calls somebody a 'multi' on the forums, staff issue a warning. Second offense means a forum ban.
that's the deal.

I think that the voting is OK to be honest, but I would like to see at least a reward for everybody. How's about possibly a raffle to go on the side, with the pot being $1,000 x the number of votes made and that's shared between 25 lucky winners.
The top games sites that apparently have malware getting blocked need to be scanned.
Mail me the sites that your AV detects as malicious and I will scan them, and send you the results.
