Firstly, congratulations to bigbocah [1024802] who won the very first 10,000 points draw today. A huge thanks to everyone else too for voting! You don’t know how important this is for us, every penny being donated at the moment is going straight back in to the game, so it’s important that we get new users in!
Remember, the main reward is 5 merits for voting which are worth over $125,000,000 for each user. You will earn these merits gradually, one by one, the more you vote.
The more users we have, the more funds we have. This means we can hire even more employees to bring you more updates, quicker.
Voting sites popping up at random times – This will occur while we test / enable and disable voting sites. This is certainly not perminant.
For those people complaining that it takes too long to vote, please understand...
On average considering there are around 10 voting sites to vote on each month, about 7 to vote on each week, and only 5 each day...
If you keep up with your votes each day, you'll on average only have to vote 6 times a day. This equates to less than 60 seconds a day with a standard internet connection if they all have captcha (which they don't). Remember that with the captchas on these voting sites, you only have to enter one word correctly – so enter both of them as best you can – Your vote may still be recorded.
Times voted stat not going up – Your times voted stat is delayed between 1 and 7 days. This is to make sure your vote has been fully recorded. If your stat still isn’t rising perhaps this is due to the way you are voting. Make sure that you load up each voting site one by one. Click a voting site link, let it pop-up, vote on it, then close the window and continue on to the next voting site. This will ensure that your votes are recorded. There may have been issues with this as we have been enabling / disabling voting sites, we’re now happy that the ‘times voted’ stat is rising correctly. If issues do occur, we'll make it high priority to fix this for you.
Voting site safety, spyware and malware. We’ve checked all voting sites we send you to, and they’re all clean. If we ever feel like we’re endangering our users computer safety, we will instantly remove that voting site. If you receive warnings from your internet security, please post a bug report and we’ll look in to it. Remember though – warnings can often be false. We would never put your computers in harms way.
We remove the voting sites from your view as soon as we have enough votes to win the round, so you’re not wasting your time. This means that often – there will be more voting sites to vote on in the beginning of each month. This will slowly fall to (hopefully) zero voting sites each day, as we reach the end of the month.
Please do keep voting if you have a spare 60 seconds in your day! We're not forcing you to, it's just very helpful for us, every single vote counts - and you really are making a difference each time.

Remember that it used to be 10 seconds, with a guaranteed reward?
It's not too time consuming, it's just them popping up every few hours that has been an issue for people, as soon as you finish testing i'm sure no one will complain, as you said we need new players, let's just hope TCHS crashes before they all get free DPs for life.
Also I personally would prefer you double the total prize and split it between 10 winners instead of one, that gives everyone more of a chance to win. 1 in tens of thousands is discouraging odds.
Its only time consuming when only one person wins, if we all get like a few points each for voting on them all that would be better, or have more prizes for 2nd 3rd 4th etc.

Everyone gets merits (after a while) so I don't see this as a problem.

Just letting you know there seems to be a problem with Torn displaying the link to vote and the site saying that we have already voted in the last 24 hours.
The link to vote is then gone and we cant use it again to vote later, yet we didnt get to vote but went thought the same process as voting for no reason.

I think at the very minimum, cut the winners points in half, and give everyone 1 point per vote. It's so depressing watching only 1 mutli win it all.
I don't think it's too time consuming, I mean either you spend a minute a day voting and get the merits eventually, r you don't. Simple. But if you want to get people to vote everyday, some people might not be motivated enough by those merits, which, for all we know, are a long way down the road. Could be 1,000 times voted for the first merit, and that's not going to be worth it to a lot of people. If you want people to consistently vote, you have to give them something each time, so 1 point for voting on all the sites weekly maybe, r something like that would be fair.

Well if you did bother to read you would notice that he hasnt done a single thing... So might aswell save your asslicking for when you have a reason...
Anyways here is my post from GD as the topic seems to be going to die now that this one is here...

About 7 to vote on each week,
And only 5 each day.
...
Odd how i voted all days and have 15 to vote today then...
Then there is the issue with ones getting twice and 3 times the times voted of others by doing the same... That ofc helps our will to vote...
And to finish there is the anti virus alerts in some of the links...
Other then that sounds great... r not...
Edit: Was missing 1 thing... On my personal case, dunno if it happens to the others, i also have to refresh after each vote, r the 2 nd and following i click doesnt disapear and i have to vote on them again, witch even makes me love it more... Special when there are 30 r so to do...
Edit 2: the site that nakes my anti virus pop up a threat most of the times is"Toptorncitys" btw...

You have 15 to vote on because it is Monday, so the weekly ones have been reset :]
7+5 = 12... Also forgot to mention that i had 15 to vote yesterday also...
Yea but Ched said the numbers for daily/weekly are just estimates, so it could be 10 weekly.
Anyway, 15 to vote for 2 days in a row? That's weird...I had like 6 yesterday I think, and I was on this morning at about 00:30am, and I had about 6 to vote on, then this morning I had the 15- ish you said you had. Seems a bit random...
Hmm, so i vote roughly 6x per day as stated, + all the weekly votes, so about 66-80 r so votes per week, for what... a lottery which one person receives? (Before it was two clicks and a type for a point, now its 66+ votes for a mere chance? Thanks alot, obviously think about your users, fail update.
You may state that it would bring us around more updates if there was more users, so thats an incentive, but it also means there will be more idiots playing, and we still dont get too rewarded for voting 6600% more than we did for a garunteed reward of 1 point?
You added extra voting sites and removed the reward in exchange for a raffle? It took closer to ten minutes to vote on all the sites that were listed, as it also did yesterday. My reward is a ticket in a raffle? This must be one of the worst online sweat shops ever dreamt up.

i agree with more prizes mabye 7 winners getting 5k points each - - seeing as 35,000++ people log on each week and if they had all voted when you were guarenteed 1 point their would be 35k++ points instead of the 10k prize right now

This! ^^
And sincerely, why should we even bother to vote when every update to game rules only brings more and more moral decay to this game? If the rules updates were meant to bring the game to a higher level, maybe more people would bother to vote...
So, to answer to the question, YES, it is too time- consuming!

Don't worry. I will vote everyday. As for me, it is not enough 60 seconds for voting. About 15 minutes I have to pay for voting because of our connection speed is very slow. Anyway I will vote for TC everyday.
:)
id like to say voting is good it does help the game.!,but only having one winner when 100`s vote each week/daily is not much of an incentive for lower players...
having maybe 1 point each time you vote on each site might be nice:)
