i applaud you working on marketing ched.. it will do soo much more for you and all of us in the long run.. you should also have some people submit articles in various places for the seo crawlers and online magazines.. these things help way more than you might think.. put together a few writers have them promote.. offer up some points and viola you have a marketing team.. if it doesn't work then you lost nothing and got your name out there more.. if they can hyperlink and so on would be awesome.. poleslider made programs for me when i was working on online marketing stuffs.. helped tremendously
I think the new vamped up look is sweet, and the voting(now with more sites to vote)with a new awarding system is a refreshing approach to something that was getting a bit mundane. Still have to see what else is lying in Torn.
Just voted at all of them and it took less than 5 minutes. and contrary to what some have posted, no you don't have to register at the site. and no contrary to what some have posted, I have 3 different software applications installed and they did not detect any malware r spyware. That said I do believe 2 r 3 of them are duplicates of other sites just with slightly different names, and the one that only gives you 30 seconds to decipher the screen kaptcha needs to offer an opportunity to try again as the second half is undecipherable. All in all good job- waiting for the merits/points/prize!!

I vote no for this idea, it is no good. Maybe if there was only like 5 r 6 sites to vote on it would be more realistic. You really expect people to spend all day voting at like 25 friggin sites especially when they dont seem to be working properly. I really dont like this idea at all.

imo 5 merits is alot better than 1 point, you wheren't going to vote 2,500 so this works out well for you

5 merits would be great but I can assure tyou they'll be for such things as vote 100, 250, 500, 1000 r some other high numbers.
I've also got to say how terribly unlucky I am. If I win I'll be very, very, very suprised. I've never won a contest, based on luck, in my life. Simple as that.
You've got to think about New Players as well who have just been screwed out of their only source of dependable income.
