We don't pick the winners, you do.
I'm just a little confused, mostly people have voted this down. But i'm unsure why? Does this competition anger you? It's obvious by the posts that most people enjoyed this competition. Yet most have voted it down... But what does this mean? You'd prefer to have nothing next year?? You'd rather have no competition?
It's as if you're blaming us for the results, and voting the whole competition down because people voted in a manner which you do not like. Or is everyone voting down because they didn't win?
Should we have the competition next year? .... Or not? By the results, it seems not. |
We have to take a picture of ourselves and post it on the internet, otherwise we will miss out on a honour and merit.

No. The original post, announcing the start of Mr/Miss Torn received a huge minus score of -127 for some reason. Which I, and the admin team cannot figure out. |
It happens every year, you should know that by now, there's always something wrong with the winner, although the people who voted for the winner and the ones who are complaining.
I was talking to Iamone, the female winner and she told me that one of the people bitching at her for winning was someone who told her how nice her picture was..
It will happen every year because people think their photo of them showing their tits is so much better than someone who puts some effort in, maybe next year it is a better idea to scrap this comp...
On a side note, check my suggestion for the next compittion

When is someone really naked? i don't see the "goods", you know. it's not like she shows anything that you wouldn't see on a beach.
what she did is most surely harder than take a plastic gun, look grim and make a photo in your living room. you're simply too dense to understand that.

i think the rules need to be more clear. i dont believe iamone did anything wrong in the comp. i see more skin on the nightly news. as for being urban it depends on what u think is urban.

Because people just vote one for everything and anything! except if they see some newds or a hot girl. other then that its one, some people contacted me saying mine was good and they voted ten. yet i still only ended up with 4.08 overall.
I don't see the point of doing another one after this. Other competitions would be better

1. Congrats to Iamone. Her idea was original and tastefully done. Some people are apparently whining that she didn't do all the painting herself. WTH is up with that?
2. I can't remember the early Miss Torn entry who had an awesome pic with an outfit, knife and hostage that didn't even show up in the rankings. Sorry about that.
3. I ultimately rated this thread up because there were some really good, original entries, but I was annoyed that I was missing out on an honor and merit by not participating. I was sorely tempted to just submit a low- quality desk salute pic just to get the merit.
4. My suggestion for next year's competition: Everyone has three weeks to enter pictures. For the rest of the month, new submissions are closed, and people can only vote the entries. That will prevent people from winning with a low number of votes. Also, limit the merit awards to the top 20 entries of each gender.

So, according to Torn rules are Ched and the Miss Torn winner fedded for violating the pg13 rule? They both posted that picture and deserve to be fedded. Hmm as a matter of fact posting nudes that are available to minors is a crime if I remember correctly...in real life.

well thats you're problem you don't have to participate and it would of probably been a waste of time because this comp isn't fair like i said you just need more rules and a good theme and fed anyone who pays people to vote for them and don't allow nudity at all cause someone just has to do what lamone did or something similar what annoys people and change the voting system like someone else has said no this isnt the best comp in the world neither is it the worse its just the players who spoil it
