1. You receive a call from one of the mob bosses, he wants City Hall burned to the ground.
2. You head downtown to City Hall, park your car and head into the building through a side entrance.
3. You find a nice quiet hiding spot to wait and take a nap untill it gets dark.
4. You wake up from your nap and sneak a look around, it appears that everyone has went home for the day.
5. You sneak out through a window and grab your gas can and lighter from your car, and sneak back in through the same window.
6. You begin spreading gasoline over everything in sight and work your way out into the main hallway.
7. You strike a match and drop it as you make your way out of the building and return to your car.
8. You watch from a safe distance as firemen attempt to save City Hall but it's apparent it's too far gone.
Result: You wake up the next day and find $38,500 has been slid through the mail slot in the door. Your payment for burning down City Hall.
Wow, it rocks!!!

I trafficked explosive all day yesterday with no problem. Today I did the top arson crime for the  and soo far no problem. Only one I failed was kidnapping the cop today (I passed it yesterday).

You only get those marks for the first.. 10 days i think it is. Could be less. its just to help you get started.

its better as you can do more crimes and increase crime exp. Also some factions only accept ppl who have committed a certain amount of crimes.

what determines you to level up your crime bar, is it quantity or quality of crimes committed? my missus has commited 600 crimes but much easier ones, such as selling copied media. I however am succeeding at pickpocketing lawyers (we both do this now).we have also been to jail the same amount of times. By this information, i'm taking that if you do more easier crimes, you get your level up quicker. Yeah?
