Guys Guys its only a game sheesh u act like ur life is over, get out of it at least we still have our battle stats . Anyways i lost 3 levels and cash and stuff but i dont minde iam back up on my feeet and u guess should alll be thrilled that u got the MERITS I mean thats worth more then anything to me(come on u got to trade 200 points for 1!) So just chill out and stop wineing cause we all lost things due to the crash and just to say it one more time ITS ONLY A GAME! Aight i think thestaff and ched did a great job and the conpensatioin is i guess like a littleextra cause who cares u were sent 1 month back (includeing ur days) SO jjust do it again! K well thnx Staff and CHED

The best compensation in my opinion, Ched, is the fact that you are letting us know all downtimes the game have and why.

hmmm...I'd like to know what the total lost was.....? maybe....250,000,000,000.....wonder how close i am......? lmao.....Yep TY so much for taking all the money donated (mine included) and keeping the game running so smooth....pffft..:@

hmmm... like they say.. you can't please anyone... but there will always be something you can never change or do anything with it..
those who goes to africa and hunt.. you guys/girls are lucky... the money you get can always return to you cause hunting is a trade of energy and time for money... well the time was set back a month backward.. so you just have to do the same thing you did a month ago..
the unlucky one are those who get lucky item you find at the city, money won from RR and such... those thing doesn't have to do with time... luck doesn't always come to you.. this is the real lost..
maybe I'm one of the unlucky one..(used too much on RR)..but what the hell... I like the game so I'll just play on.. this is my last yapping in this thread..

What is your definition of luck? If you do not have your facts straight, then it's simple do not respond. I wasted 3 months of game time i could have used to train to go hunt for money and get to were i was only to lose the majority of it, that is not something i want to redo just to get back to were i already was! Secondly, we can't just go back and regain what we lost b/c what ever our hunting xp was it was reduced by 30-40+ and staff finds it unnecessary to give it back!

it's fucked up when people make fucking promises and then don't keep to them! Ched if you couldn't have given us the money or the points then ur ass shouldn't have promised it. You could've at least told us u changed your mind about how much u were gonna give out. If some of you are happy about what you have received then that's fine but I'm not happy at all about what i've recieved. And please if you disagree with me then so be it, i don't want u people mailing me about speaking my mind. If u have a problem with it BY ALL MEANS GO TO HELL AND KISS MY ASS ON THE WAY THERE! oh well i know i will get put in fed for saying this but honestly I DON'T GIVE A DAMN! Yeah, that's great, mr level 11. I'm sure you lost a lot in this crash. Especially time invested.
You know, people wouldn't whine so much if it wasn't for...
* Such a crash being possible in the first place. The danger was brought to the attention of the ones responsible a long time ago, but they did nothing. Where did all the money we donated to support the game go? We only know where it didn't go: making back-ups of vital game data.
* More or less random compensation. Someone gets a palace worth 65 mill, and someone gets a couple of useless merits. We might as well get a couple of Gingerbread Houses instead, it wouldn't really make a difference. Some gains a lot, some loses a lot. People who invested heavily to get to the top now find themselves far behind, and have every right to feel scammed.
* Attitude. Ched doesn't care about those who play the game. We knew that already, and saying you think he's great followed by seventy exclamation marks still isn't going to change that. But in a situation like this, you can at least pretend you're sorry for what happened, and admit that you did infact really screw things up. It's never anybody's responsibility. Ched's preferred strategy seems to be making people forget whatever happened. Let's not talk about the crash that basically ruined the game for many, let's talk about the new car racing addition. Ignore the complainers, and they'll go away. And then a whole new generation of chumps will start donating money.
There's been so many crashes, so many false promises and so many hopeless maneuvers during my year and a half here, that I'm just appalled to see how many newbies actually think ched's done some great work during and after this crash. Sorry, but that's just not the truth. And 400 days from now, you will probably be telling a tale much like this to the future noobs of TC.

The first day of my holiday was Sunday 18th February, I travelled to Egypt for a 10 day holiday. I return eventually and log back in on Friday 2 March 2007 only to find that chaos appears to have reigned since I was away. It may also be my misfortune to not get any compensation because I was not logged on any time in the 7 days following the crash (not possible when your floating down the Nile). So it looks like this game has kicked me right where it hurts twice and I'm beginning to understand what HT_heggland0, above, is on about. It makes you wonder if any of the Staff ever read these pages doesn't it.

Ched mixes market controlled prices with prices he himself has set at a fixed level, to make merits look like they're worth really much.
Fixed values:
1 merit = 500 points
1 point = $100
If Ched had used his own fixed value of a point, one merit is worth $50,000.
But if he uses the market controlled prices for points (plus some more), one merit is worth $15,000,000.
Both of these are equally wrong, but it's in Ched's interest to make merits look more valuable than they are, so he uses the latter.
As a logical consequence, a ten merit yasukuni sword should be worth a whopping $150,000,000. Oh, why.. why couldn't we all just get yasukuni swords as compensation!
And before people start calling me a whiner etc, I gained a lot on this crash. I gained so much that I paid ---stone---[70316] one million yesterday just for busting me out of jail. So this isn't my ego talking. I just hope people stop and think a little, especially those who are pumping real money into this.
This crash has been handled as badly as all the other crashes and problems TC has experienced. Fake promises, lies and complete abandonment of responsibility. This is not something you would want to pay good money for.
