Nice job tard. Obviously you don't have a clue what you are talking about. Most people DID lose 3-5 times the cash they got compensated back. I didn't lose 3-5 times the cash that was compensated??? Is that why I lost over 8 million not including the investment? I can respect some of your opinions (the ones that make sense) but to speak out of sheer ignorance like that just shows you don't have a clue.

thanks chad, I realise that you have been in a difficult spot, trying to please everyone and not spoil the game by an influx of free cash. i love this game just hate to have to wait all the days over again in job area and bank area but thats ok im getting over it and am anticipating what is to come again. thanks again, wanda

I'll give you the tip numbnuts - higher level players would have lost a _lot_ more that you did (at least 3-5 times the cash they got in return in most cases), so stop being a crybaby and do everybody a favour by choosing one of the following options:
A) Be a sook and quit the game because you don't give a shit about the game enough to not be hung up on getting something you never could have gotten on your own (the level x $3,000,000 compo mainly).
B) Stick around and keep playing because you actually like the game itself enough to get over what you've lost...
This is not only directed at you but at all of the low level players who are crying over the same damned thing...
For the record if you actually spent a bit of time reading the forums you would have known that it wasn't long at all before the $3,000,000 per level suggestion for compo was scrapped (once Ched realised that he would be pumping 3 times the amount of cash that was lost back into the game).
If you're a kid (which is what all the whiners sound like) then grow up and realise that you're not the center of the universe.
If you're not then the message is the same - grow up.
After reading all the shit in the forums I kinda wish Ched would just say "screw it" and shut down TC for a while and watch everybody (including me) crap their pants to teach us a lesson...
I know I'd be sorely tempted to do it if it were me... ;P

i think the biggest thing to remember is that the staff is going to do what the staff wants to do, and it doesnt matter who likes it or not, because there will always be people who play.
the most one can hope for is that chedbuns will get fined for using the terms "donator packs" and "donations" when its not legally a donation, since torncity and the torn city network is not a non profit organization (which legally can only ask for or accept "donations".) maybe that little bit or karma will kick ass for the "hell of a lot of 'compensation" that was given out. what a load of hooey.
