this is shit!!! i was in peacefull faction just so i didn't have to fight!! now we got attacked from a faction that is 3x times bigger than ours, and we get hosped all the time!!! THIS IS SHT!!! (i don't give sht about xp) only solution now is not to be in a faction!!! WORST UPDATE EVER!! i'll quit torn, because every day it sucks more and more! only people that have a few bill of stats and billions on bank like to play it, u never ever think on week or new players. u all suck...

No they don't have to agree but if they fight back both sides will gain more respect. If they don't fight back the attacking faction will win the war and gain a little extra respect quickly.

The worst update ever, so now we cant be safe in a faction for merits and for chatting? If we are in a faction we are supposed to fight? That sux badly

The new faction warring system is now released! There is no aggressive or peaceful status, there are no ranks... War has completely changed.
Wars are now a form of challenge. You gain more respect overall by warring someone who is actually willing to fight.
Generally, both factions will gain respect in a war if they both fight. Once a certain target is reached, the winning faction can claim victory, resulting in a bonus of respect.
For full specifications, please view our previous announcement “Big faction change – Proposal”.
Please be aware, there will be small problems, and there will be minor changes to this system over the next few weeks to continually improve it. Respect gains / losses may be modified.

Are the peaceful factions going to get anything in return for the loss of their status? What about peaceful days that were paid for with hard earned respect, before he made it unlimited? Did we ever get anything back for that? Was there ever a vote on this anywhere? What the hell?

i doubt you will read this comment, but i really appreciate this update chedders. i give you a hard time sometimes, but this update is a big deal and i think its a move in the right direction.

ok so i get that all factions have to be in war mode but heres a good idea:
make it so if you wanna gain respect for factions by warring, they have to have stealth OFF
if you're at war and attacking, why be a pussy and have stealth on?

I just put a whole faction in my warbase in hosp with stealth off i am sure they will love me
Collecting CD players so send me some, or urrrm i'll buy them i guess XD
