ok so i get that all factions have to be in war mode but heres a good idea:
make it so if you wanna gain respect for factions by warring, they have to have stealth OFF
if you're at war and attacking, why be a pussy and have stealth on?
I just put a whole faction in my warbase in hosp with stealth off i am sure they will love me
lol my faction keeps getting stealth attacked, i just figure it would be better if everyone had stealth off if they wre taking part in a war.
those that attack with stealth on in wars shouldnt get their faction respect

Same here, nothing but someones have been hosping me...not sure I am so enthused about the loss of peaceful status...it is cutting into my quality Casino time...lol;)

What's the problem with stealth? You know who you're at war with, just put them all in the hospital.:|o

hmm faction special reset maybe?
same as with merits
as i know many factions spent respect on whatever special. just for decoration purpouses, thinking they will never have to switch from peaceful.

respect spend on upgrades should definetly be reset, especially if there are more ways to spend respect released
those who spent respect extending peaceful status - well most people will be against that. me = neutral. maybe offer half of that respect back as soon as that faction decleares and wins a war? then it will be more 'earned' than just from being peaceful.
yeah, all peaceful factions should get the respect they payed back (not all of it, since they had some time in peaceful, but all the time that wasn't used. Like if they bought a year of peaceful 6 months ago, give them that respect of the 6 months back)
cant say as i like the new warring system, should move back to the old system with the simple abolishment of ranks and peacefull/aggressive status... would be 1000x better.
as is right now... this new warring system is littered with problems, some of which are quite simply design flaws. Try again.

from what i can see respect gains need upped dramatically
Seconded less than 1 respect gained per hit, and that's taking into account the fact we're getting retaliation bonuses and stuff, and against a faction that is fighting back...
Like many others I am disappointed. Factions should be punished for not attempting to fight back and not protected as they are now.
I am not saying that it should be easy to destroy factions, but there should be consequences for all of the factions that don't chain back. Maybe take away their upgrades and ability to do OCs if they just sit back and train.
