Valesh did NOT give permission. Read the thread. The banker is no different than the "banker" that was a faction member. Valesh was not married to him so it has nothing to do with being is wife. It was a faction member.
You and sandbox should go play in the sandbox with eachother. You two might like it.
by making someone co-leader you that means they have access to your cash funds....everyone knows that. That means he gave to ok for him to access the cash, if your not going to give that ok to someone then you don't make them co-leader.
please D3adly don't make me beat your brains in on a one hitter again for like the 96th time!
Do it ho I don't think you have the balls.
Also he was NOT co leader. So you don't know what the hell you are talking about yet again.
He was give "Access" which is different than giving someone permission to take or give out money that does not belong to them.
Why give somone access to 90 billion? that is absolutely crazy, either have way less cash or tell hime o keep 10-50 million on him. no one will keep mugging someone who has only 15 million n them, you get like 200K not worth it when you can collect bounties for more plus work towards merits! You can't tell me during chaining someone would burn through 15 million in a day? valesh is on daily, if the guy uses it up in a couple days then you just send 15 million more. If the guy wants to store cash you say cool no prob, but then you tell him he may have to waut a couple hours to a couple days for you to give it to him when he needs it.
I am not trying to be an a$$, I am just saying giving someone access to 90billion is not smart, even if there are rules, any experienced players know not to risk rules with staff enforcing or players finding loop holes in this game. I agree it sucks for him to lose that much cash, but really its kinda crazy to even put yourself in the position to lose it!
It is good to see that others feel the same as I do about not being able to make some one pay for their in game sins. We really do need some way since the only real effective ways, such as faction zeroing has been made next to impossible to achieve and as you zero the faction they either buy another one to transfer their cash resulting in more wasted time and money trying to get your retribution.
To quote ched
"The deterrents should be player-made. If someone steals from you, you make them pay yourself."
Ched if you are reading this thread give us the tools to give life and truth to your words. As it stands they mean nothing and are just empty words with out the tools to achieve this goal.
On a side note. If it has become impossible for part time staff to implement the game rules, then I would think it is time to hire full time staff to implement them fully. Instead of letting the game digress into just a cesspool of scammers and faction thieves by removing the rules or changing them to benefit scammers. Holy crap,,,,Do you really think making these rule changes to aid and abet scammers is a good thing????
"Guys we understand it is our jobs to enforce the laws created to better the game and we do it to the best of our ability to keep it a fair gaming environment. Unfortunately however we have run into difficult situations we do not know how to handle or evaluate properly and are stuck. We also do not appreciate being called names and handling personal insults in complaints over dealing with this. We work hard behind the scenes of what the everyday user sees, and our involvement and the time we spend attempting to correct these matters is simply becoming too much of a hassle.
So rather than come up with a viable solution to the problem, (there have been a few pretty good ones in this thread), since after we spend time fixing this there will probably be another difficult problem you ask for us to deal with, we shall be removing our handle on everything related to this matter, and you all can deal with it yourselves and do what you can to enforce trouble makers in game.
The staff currently handling these types of issues will be assigned to... something else. Most likely this update/warning/announcement/ what have you will push you to be more exclusive to who has access to your faction's funds and basically not trust anyone you haven't met in person and we encourage that. Other than that, good luck, and we'll see you out there. OH AND DONATE PLZ

I'm speaking from an outside perspective and I'm not exactly the biggest talker on these forums... well actually I don't really ever post here, so maybe my opinion doesn't matter much, but this just seems like an odd move to me. I mean I would make the assumption that they couldn't come up with something to fix this issue, but in this thread alone there have been some good ideas thrown around that don't appear to be that complex, (I don't know a thing about programming so maybe I'm wrong), but to an extent it just sort of seems like laziness. Even if solving some of the issues becomes contorted from he said she said possibly coincidental issues, why remove your handle on the matters altogether? If these few/one/whatever issues have been bad, they won't get any better once nothing is monitored, and considering the amount of people that rely on the faction banking system... who can you trust now that there's essentially no risk of penalty for the accused?
it seems as though admins position on this is that no one did anything wrong but then why the new update? it can only mean that someone did something wrong and that they are just covering their butts

and without justice having access none of this could have been possible.....
his own fault ....
why should staff have to cover your ass when you choose unreliable people to have access to your faction cash
Exactly. it's silly how everything enrages Valesh , and D3ADLY apparently , that Valesh did do things he claims he didn't.
And JusticeR did do things that Valesh also claims that he didn't.
Sanbox........you sound like a stupid noob just like you always have. You're such a dork Sanbox.

i think if ur gunna leave it up to players to deal with it you really need to put in new items to actually make people pay because bounties do nothing.....my idea would be some kind of small bomb you leave on someones doorstep which leaves them hosped for a while unable to morph out or be revived...It could be some kind of radiation device which gives you alot of hosp time. Reason could be
IN hospital for sever radiation which would leave it uncurable...
or if its not a radiation item them make some kinda of explosive which leaves them hosped a long time too.
Reason could some like Being Reconstructed...this would leave someone stuck in the hospital a while.
Prices could be determined by staff or whatever but if you are going to take out scamming rules implement things to actually make people pay if they scam

1 person factions is a easy fix. You must have atleast 2 people to start a faction. the first 2 people to join a faction can not leave that faction for 1 month.
Yay! Lets give everyone a reason to make a multiple account and then just have it sit in the faction
If you don't like me i think you should know I don't care.

You wouldn't give a stranger the keys to your house, your SIN card, or your VISA.
Yet, in game when you do so, you expect Staff to come up, and wipe your bums, tell you it is okay, and get your stuff back as you were too ignorant to not listen to something your parents have tried teaching you for years.
DON'T TRUST STRANGERS.
In real life, no one will rush to your defense, no questions asked like Staff do.
So, now we are telling you to watch your own assets. Grow up.

I'm pretty sure we have something called police in real life...and if someone stole 90 billion from you they would at least put the thief in jail. Not trying to start another discussion..just wanted to point that out. Anyways whats done is done I guess.

CHEDBURN, I THINK THAT YOU SHOULD JUST NOT BOTHER ENFORCING MULTI FEDDINGS ANYMORE EITHER. STAFF SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN TELL US STUPID IDIOTS TO STFU AND STOP WHINING....
BOUT SUMS UP THEIR JOBS AT THIS POINT...
LoL, dont get confused between staff and Mattyb's attitude
No but you are the company you keep, which in the case is poor at best.
Lets go ahead and make multies and same IP activity ok to. I mean what is against the rules anymore
Hiring for my company 50k int=600k. Druggies are welcome if active. Paying 350k for stalemates, I will unload weapons so anyone can do it.
That would be a typical staff member response. Do whats in your best interest and not everyone as a whole. Very nice, good indeed if this is how staff operate in real life, I'd expect them to be quite lonely people in life.
I'm waiting for more typical staff replies haha. EPIC FAIL! on that response.
The problem is TC is NOT real life so we dont have to treat it like it is so!
Of course we wouldn't do those things in real life, but in a game things are suppposed to be a bit more fair for everyone, unlike real life were its not

Would it be different if the people responsible in this faction issue were next door neighbors to the person who was wronged? The reason they trusted these people is because they knew that if there was a problem there was still a fail safe rule to protect their investment even if the money was wrongfully taken, which they would expect to be handled by staff. Admittedly no, I don't think the president of the United States would jump to help me if I gave someone access to my home safe and they stole from me, but when there are rules designated in game to prevent such a thing, why shouldn't we expect them to be upheld?
