scamming of all type should be banned
LoL, why, some players seems all they like to do is scam, must be why they play the game.
It takes them like 2 weeks to scam up 1 bil and then like 2 days to waste it away
Faction members can always slut themselves out in a war aside from stealing cash. There is alays going to be tactics used in the game most players won't think is fair like making a big trade with someone then mugging them after accepting it.
Ok, so as of the 12th faction sacmming is legal right?
if that is the case, then Valesh should have his case looked into thoroughly, the scammers punished and Money returned..... after all, it's only the 7th June right now.......

BOTTOM LINE IS THIS:
I have sat quiet about alot of updates some were very bad. But this tops the cake of stupidity. OH THIS IS TAKING TO MUCH OF MY STAFFS TIME. so my solution is to stop my staff from working on it and say screw the players. instead of doing this ched y dont you just add more staff that sole job is to handle the scammin. I for one spend a decent ammount of money on this game as i know others do. I BUT until you change this i will no longer donate to the game. I have bought everything i have in the game through donations to the game to buy the items. I cannot and will not donate to the game. The staff are upset because they got in on the attacks and feel that they should keep the money. and CHED is alowing this to go on. I WILL TELL YOU WHAT. Hire me as staff i will handle the scamming cases and i will not ask nothing in return just that you do not continue to make this mistake that you are making now. i am on this game on a daily basis andhave supported ched and never critized him for decision he has made but this is just purely laziness on the staffs part.

Suggestion:
instead why dont you create an update where a faction can let they users to buy inside of the faction a private area where they can put stuff into it ... its more like a personal bank but everyone would see how much you have, and it would get destroyed if a faction dies.
Isn't it the staffs jobs to work? You have plenty of them, but if you need more to handle the scamming get more. I'm sure plenty of people would love to become staff and deal with faction scamming.

I haven't personally donated real life money to the game, but recently I was very much considering buy a lot of DP's to support the game and also to help fund my new faction with the new upcoming faction update on the way...
However, I am definitely glad I did NOT go forward with those plans.
I agree with the above statements. I'm sure alot of people wouldn't mind becoming some level of "staff" even if it was just to take care of Faction Theft or Scamming.
Scamming being legal in most points in the game is alright I suppose but unacceptable for Factions I believe!
Also I agree with Z_junior's comment. Torn: NO RULES...
Why not making hacking the game legal too and everyone can give themselves Trillions of game funds?

Dont let anybody else touch your money... I learned the hard way.. Mine got swipped too.. so i just decided its only fair to my faction members for me to not have a co leader or treasurer... Keeps my faction members happy knowing that nobody else can get their lil grubbers on the cash, points, drugs, and weapons..
Yeah there MIGHT end up being alot of co-leader less factions very soon I believe, just as someone mentioned earlier.
Also, I think this might mean that alot of alliances might break down at the seams because now "anything goes" Pretty much NO RULES!
Might as well just make Multiple accounts legal now, and exploiting too for personal gain aren't those crimes too? and this is after all a crime game right? haha
I'm not serious about the last statement but come on! The point is it is pointless and makes no sense just like my last comment.
This must get fixed or alot of donators might quit donating real money to the game
All the things I've heard thus about how this has been handled disgust me. If this was looked into and the rules were applied, the people affected would be happy. But hey why not let someone abusing a loophole get away unpunished? We can be proud of that decision right? Why have rules if they won’t be enforced? This is ridiculous.

Please note, currently anyone who steals from a faction will receive a federal jail sentence, until the 12th of June.
These steps have been put in to action for many reasons. Mainly:
We do not take any action against company scamming, why factions?
The huge difficulty staff go through to resolve these issues.
The instant by-passing of warnings.
The inability to determine who owns the money.
The loopholes around this rule.
Is it a coincidence that the new update came out right as Affliction was being targeted? I think not. This change has to be a direct response to what has been going on. It is obvious the rules were violated and yet the people responsible walk free. I want justice. I've followed the rules in this game. I've reported players who have broken them, whether it was for having multiple accounts or impersonation on IRC. Out of these incidents I can only think of one circumstance have I felt that the staff member helping me was truly being helpful. He did not stop until the issue was completely resolved, and even found time to let me know the outcome after a few hours of working. Thanks Wayne for being one of the few I've seen that want to help and for that I thank you.
TC really has a lot of problems that need to be fixed. With the current uproar I can't think of a better time for the staff to take a stand and start enforcing rules. There are good staff members. They just need to step up. So far all I've seen them do is say "Nothing can be done," before even looking into it. How can you say NOTHING can be done without properly investigating the incident? Furthermore a certain staff member had the audacity to insult Valesh publicly in the forums. Even after this no one does anything to stop it. It is absurd that this is allowed. In any game I’ve ever played directly insulting players like that would have gotten them de-staffed. This should not be tolerated. How can you expect users to report foul play when they see a staff member acting out like that?
This is not about money. It is not about being cheated. This is about doing the right thing, and giving punishments out where they are deserved. Give us what we want. Justice.

I agree 100% completely. We have rules and law enforcement in real life to keep things running smooth and so people in general are safer. So why allow 100% chaos in game with no rules to abide by. We are now allowed to do everything and everything we want? That makes no sense to me.

I really do hope that staff see the light of this and make things right. After all, we are all in this game with and for eachother. Without eachother would we even be playing this game? Of course not. It's us that are here for support. It's us that are here to entertain eachother. It's us that are here to listen to each other when we're having a really bad day. It's us that are here to lend a shoulder the best we can.

But then their bank factions will get attacked and destroyed when Peaceful Factions are removed.
