its a donation to ones faction therefore faction funds so why then is everyone hung on the fact it was just valesh's cash it was sent to him and became his cash as it was on hand to him without his knowledge whilst he was offline there was another 30 odd billion not touched overly it was faction theft

This is an excellent point. If money is donated to a faction, it becomes the property of that faction, and any removal without the permission of the leader is by definition faction theft.
This is no different than a cashier putting the weeks takings into their bosses pocket and arranging for a friend to mug them when they get round the corner. Its theft, whichever way you look at it, and is against the rules. The two people involved should be fedded, without question.

Everyone that plays knew they would get rid of the faction theft when there was enough crying about it. Too much work for staff to do....GET MORE STAFF!! Im waiting for them to lock the thread so no one can complain. Any minute now...
That said its not faction theft and I dont feel the money should be returned because person that made them manager is the same person that got screwed but it sure does sound like bug/loophole abuse. They side stepped the rules using the faction to steal from Valesh, if thats not bug abuse I dont know what is. Id like to hear how it isnt from staff but they are avoiding the thread like the plague.
Further more why does Sifonjer one of there richest people there are need to steal. Pretty sad really

i rather delete some users and staff i guess we could compromise and return money, not lay down the hammer and address the matter with a change to the system in removing the policy or take any number of steps toward faction banking. oc could be split between the members that partake directly. then what other real need for a faction bank other then to protect the rich or help and do things for your fellow faction members. granted i have spent billions on my members though have yet to even posses 90billion

The way I see things is that if Ched is now changing the rules to make faction theft legal, there must have been an issue that warrants this change. (ie Valesh's case), In other words, Justicer stole/took/gave $$ that was not his aka faction theft which is still illegal.

Ched I can't say I agree with this one. Because you could totally trust your co-leader. But one day you could get to arguing and they clean you out. Then you lose oh so much.
What makes it worse is the IP thing. because if your Co could be your neighbor and you could send each other things. Then most ppl would have ppl they know in RL as they co. But they don't.
And how could a level 25 make a level 50 do anything? Thay couldn't. What could you do to get even? nothing at all!

The problem with his case is their is no proof of intent to scam (at least no shown here). Who is to say the money was not given to him by mistake and then the mugger just got lucky or that the giver meant for it to be mugged but didnt tell the mugger he gave him the money and just said he knew Valesh had a lot of money on him?

Not just watch a fellow faction member get mugged to death? And by sending ANYONE in the faction 90b, JusticeR was stealing from the faction regardless of how you look at it, since that wasn't his money.

come on staff make your minds up here. Either scamming is leal across the whole board or scamming is illegal across the whole board.
The less rules the easier the game play. As for bans. how can you ban people for scammin if 6-12 months ago you made it legal to do so.
Yes it was a shame people lost money. But end of the day this is a game. Money and Shit gets taken daily.
I think you all need to take a spoonful of cement and harden the f**k up.

He was given the cash first, 30 seconds after he was mugged.
The mugger didn't find any cash, yet he had Valesh revived and then mugged Valesh a second time.
It was no mistake, no coincidence, no nothing.
