I love how Valesh dealt with this situation. And he was absolutely right all the time. Most people wouldn't be able to deal with this situation successfully.
I think there are alternatives to the legalization of faction theft. This change is not that needed. And this particular case with that theft wasn't problematic anyhow, because it was obvious since the beginning that it's a faction theft. And I don't know why staff haven't dealt with this in the appropriate way. I am a little mad at staff since that zombies competition, when I got an osbolete reward for my efforts when I expected a unique item. Though I love how the game is going.
But imagine if they done the theft to look more like coincidence - if JusticeR kept track of Valesh's sleeping times, and between the beginning and the middle of it he sent him the money, and then he posts this at the questions forum, asking how to get his money back (or at general discussion, sharing his problem, or anywhere else), right after this Sifonjer does his kill streak. Has small risks of someone informing Valesh on mobile phone, or someone mugging him, but otherwise looks much safer. Then even an appropriate reaction on the staff's part would hardly save him.
If they make a comfirmation button before getting revived, this problem will be one of the issues fixed with that. This is better than a list of people who can revive you, because that way someone can betray you. And anyway, you won't need to be outside hospital while offline. Or the best solution is to ask for confirmation before getting reviven by someone not on your list with people that can revive you.

This is a simple economical issue here. It has been written that the economy of TC is in turmoil. We all have seen the changes that limit us all from making the money we used to make in the game. The reason these changes were made is also simple. For one, donations to TC are down. Most of the reason donations are down is the real life economy all of us and our families are going through. Another part is the fact that there are so many people in the game that have enough TC money to buy their donator status without spending real life money. Since the almighty Chedburn himself could not change the real world economy, he went to what he could change. This explains all of the recent changes to the game as we now know it.
This brings up the obvious conflict of interest. A conflict of interest (COI) occurs when an individual or organization is involved in multiple interests, one of which could possibly corrupt the motivation for an act in the other. This meaning that Chedburn benefits when money is removed from circulation. This will ultimately result in someone somewhere donating real life money to the game. The conflict of his interests would be him returning this money that has already been removed. This would result in someone somewhere using TC money and not real life money to buy their donator status in the game. So if you owned a business like Chedburn, would you do what is right by returning the money to its rightful owner, which would possibly result in a loss of your own money ? Or would you tell everyone that there is no way of tracing this money, which would probably result in a gain of your money ?
I personally have owned, and been an admin on several RPG dames such as this one. As an admin having access to the c-panel of a server, i know that it is totally possible to access EVERYTHING that has EVER been done on your server. We need no further evidence of this than the taking back of all of the merits ever used in increasing our lifebars. In my case they were able to go back almost 1700 days. So when i hear that they have no way of going back a couple or few days to trace the money, I know this is a crock of shit.
I however have an effective solution to this simple economic issue. I am asking that all players in TC
DO NOT DONATE ANY REAL MONEY TO TC UNTIL THE MONEY IS RETURNED TO THE AFFLICTION FACTION, ALL OF THE PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SCAM ARE FEDDED, AND A FAIR SYSTEM IS PUT IN PLACE TO ELIMINATE SCAMMING ONCE AND FOR ALL
People of TC, If we stand for nothing, we will fall for anything. Lets send a message to Chedburn in a way he would understand.
Great idea here! I for one will join you in a strike. I will not pay any real life money until Chedburn starts serving us players instead of selfishly serving his own needs. He will never change unless he sees we will not take his crap.

Ched, why don't you just modify the faction bank so that the owner of donated funds must authorize any transaction with their money? Why add all these fancy icons and merits when you could make a more sophisticated system that's fair and just for all?

a Co-Leader it's that simple .
i belive that torn at least need some regeneration and do more selection competition to get the "staff" position... not just pick all poeple that know ched well then will become the staff..

Everyone can decide to trust people they only know from talking to in a game. I never will and therefore never will be scammed. If you did and got scammed only blame yourself for being so ignorant instead of blaming the game and the makers for being so unfair.
