I don't have a display case, but I think its just wrong to make these people buy something they already had.
HOW ABOUT THIS CHED, is there some kind of query you can run on the db - to see who has items in a display case but they don't actually own a display case - just give them one.
You've got to be able to do something like that.

What a bunch of whining, I-have-to-have-everything-my-way-immediately -or-I'll-curse children!!!
@ efemera You didn't lose your free time, you chose to spend it playing a game that in 5 years will likely mean nothing to you. This is a digital world and in the span of 5 years something better will come along and you'll be wasting -- I mean spending -- you free time doing that.
Sure everyone lost something. It's a game - it's not real life.
Everyone take a deep breath and repeat this to yourself, "This isn't real life, it's a game. When I'm done playing this game, I'll spend my free time and my money doing something else."
Eventually, you'll have a hobby or you'll take up playing solitaire or something and spend some money and not a small amount of time doing it. That's the way life is.
Also @ efemera - consider spending a little more time studying English instead of playing games. In the long run, you'll be much happier that you did.

anyways i think everyone lost a lot of cash and other stuff..75% of the ppl cant even estimate how much money they have lost..
well i guess its a big disaster...lets hope this dosent happen again..

have to spend money to get your items back and your display case, normal for tc I guess.
8 ped rots lost thaught they were recovered, Guess I have to buy them back as well. Dont get me wrong, the stats or general game play can be gotten back but the things I said are lost, and ped rotts cost money and E

yeah, they backed up from the beta server.. everything you tested and spent your money on in the name of helping.. got you screwed in the long run
But I do belive that this is abit over the top. This IS a GAME, and I know that people have put money into it and all that, but the majority of the people are crying about the money and stats they lots, the school classes and what not.
The only people who have a right to be pissed are the ones who bought a DP FROM THE SITE, not the market, in the last 2 months
