ive lost 3 levels im back to level 12 iv goto wait 50days for my bank to get my 20mil out, i had 3days left, i had 2days left on my astrology education im not even in it no more, this is s**t

chedburn ur completly useless. uve made over a million dollars from this game, you are 19 years old, dont u think its time to start getting some proper staff that you pay a monthly wage to keep the game running properly instead of powertripping wankers?
and not backing up data for over 42 days? then giving us a load of shit about it only backing up 128 rows as u were backing up LOL, so let me get this, ur server is designed to back up data on 43rd day? why wasnt it backing up all those previous dates?? and why the fuck do i have stats/money/house that i had on the BETA TEST SERVER??

hmmm... I have been dragging money for the last few months... I was going to have in two weeks almost 300 million cash and now all _I have left is 16 million... you really think he is only one pissed of this? These people really should think of selling the code to somebody else who can do the job and stop playing around with our money. I have been donating a lot more then just my DPs and this is what I get.

OMG, theninja-rpg flashbacks. Thought this was the one game that wouldnt screw me over. Anyways i quit, start backing up ur systems more, its isnt that hard, do it weekly incase something like this happens. Most admins in games are way to lax and never think something like this would happen so never prepare for it. I hope this is your wakeup call. Anyways good luck.

Why is it that some people are saying their stats are safe?? Mine certainly aren't and I'm set back 2 levels and lost my points and a whole lot of cash. If some peoples stats are safe WHY aren't EVERYONE'S??

stats are good but that's about all.
i don't have the palace any more, i lost my new faction witch i bought it 3-4 days before the crash, now i have the link to "my old faction" but that's going nowhere because that faction was destroyed in war.... also lost all the money for the palace because they was in the old faction bank... i bought and used 2dp's from ppl selling dp on the newspaper and now i only got 3 days left donator and no dp in my items!!!
oh ya... i'm still level 28.

i lost my 31nerve back to 21... i lost my Drivers license. not even in the dl course. also back to level 15 from lvl 18.... i lost over 1mill dollars too....please help

I completely agree with wootbuyer a few posts up on this topic.
Yes, it's unfortunate that this stuff happens, but it does happen, even to the best systems. It's from times like this that Murphy's Laws were created.
To all of the people who can't control their language and/or tempers -- I feel sorry for you. You've invested your emotions in something that will not give you anything back at all, other than perhaps a smile on your face as you smash some poor sod into the ground and make off with his loot.
Really, if you think about it, this game is about as mindless a game as you can get. You point, you click, you don't have to know how to add or how to spell; there's no real work and almost no strategy. I've almost come to view these types of games as the games monkeys can play.
If it wasn't for the fact that there are some genuinely nice people here who exhibit intelligence above that of the average TC player, I would have left a long time ago. I'm glad that there are a few players amidst the crowd that have perspective, intelligence and restraint. They make the game more enjoyable overall.
Ched and staff - thanks for working through this problem amidst all of the abuse and mud-slinging going on. I know you'll do the best you can with what you have.

I lost over 1k point, 150 Million dollar and 2 levels. I don't see how everything is ok. And I do hold you responsible for the site going down, not checking back-ups. You ignored the first rule of IT, always have a backup, and test it.
