Ugh...I'm quitting. :/ I may have only been on for a few months, but all of my stats for my job have been reset. Not to mention my level...so...bye, Torn city.
I, for one, vote that we all get together and demand to be returned what is ours or just drop the game and stumble off, it is not the first time half a game's player base has died due to the complete idiocy of it's owners.
Not to mention my dog...:/ I've been taking such good care of it...so if you say pets are safe, that's bullshit.
And my intelligence...and manual labor..I've been working so hard...

LOL are you serious? This was totally your fault NOBODY, NOBODY that has intelligence and owns such a site wouldn't have backup severs that have critical data on them.
who do we talk to and how long are we looking for things to be recovered?, I lost a faction and the Dp's I used to buy that faction. what do I do now? I have 2 days left on my current DP and in at -43K count me in the un happy player who thinks more should be done.

I at least lost 1,7 million dollars. I was saving for a new DP. I also lost the DP I had, with about 10 days left on it today.
I hope I can get this back some how.
I understand people are anoyed about this, but it is not like Ched or anyone else in staff wanted us to lose this stuff. So give them some slack and not start attacking them because we pay to play. All that is, is people who are jealous that they haven't thought up such a cool game.
So people relax and contact a staff member about your loses and they will see what can be done.

OMG u ppl! This is the internet. This is a game. And yea u spend alot of time and some of ya's spend real money on it. Guess what? That $5 coulda been a cheeseburger right? Do you bitch when you're hungry again? And did it kill ya to go outside and get fresh air these past couple days?
This happens all the time. Every single game i've played either resets or just ups and disappears. As u can see by my id i've been here awhile. Last game I put two years into just quit one fine day. They didn't even have a forum to bitch about it in!
Hey u gotta admit its a good game otherwise you wouldn't be here. Suck it up, wait for em to try to fix it some more. Maybe they can throw us all some free days ... that would be a nice gesture. And seriously do you think by threatenin to leave your scarin somebody or what? sigh.

It must be hard to hear all the bad comments about the site or the specific server down issue but you really can't blame them. I myself am pissed at first but I tried looking at it in a bigger picture I realized that it is really hard for you to bring back what's lost. You also said somewhere in your post that it is not your fault but i believe it is in some ways your fault as you you should have been ready in this kind of situations. Anyhow, there's a first time for everything. I'm sure the site will be running perfectly and fast now. But what you have to face is how to win your players enthusiams and interest back in the game. I myself don't know if I'm still going to continue playing as I've lost a lot from the game. Prolly it is better resetting all back to 0. You know better. Please just come up with something otherwise expect for a lot of players to go to other sites instead. Not a threat but an advice based on my perception. All the best.

My crimes actually got set back over 2 months so whatever. Did over 100 busts in a week and then have lost them all, wasted all that time and energy under the new ridiculously hard and seemingly completely random chance system. I'm quitting, goodbye.
