sorry, I simply can't rate this up, 1 point per person infected is really not worth the time....
However I do appreciate the new competitions and the hard work as of late, I just think the prizes need to be more worth while

Come on guys, of course the best of the best won the competition. Do you think they didn't put effort into getting where they are? What's the purpose of getting good stats only to be belittled when the competition comes around? I think this motivates the people who have low stats to work harder for when another competition like this pops up!
I do not disagree with the fact that the prizes were a little, eh. Could have been a bit more creative, but it's better than nothing.

As I said, battle stats were NOT important. All you need was Vicodin, energy refills helped.
Most of the players I zombified were low levels. The last 10 days or so all I zombified were levels 1.

i know that people who won was working hard, but at the same time surely i shud of had something, i infected about 20 people hardly any in fact but still not even 1 point? thats a rip off! makes me think ched is loosing it in his old age

Come on guys, it's not like anyone forced you to do this competition. We are trying to put them out there monthly for a bit of fun and something the entire game is doing at once.
Prizes are prizes and they are costing you nothing, we have had economy issues for a long time that are now getting under control and we do not want to go backwards.
This is the first year for competitions to be listed on a monthly basis and we have stated we want opinions on them all so we know whether to have them for next year or replace.
No need to be harsh or criticize.

I thought that the award was going to be a collectible or something with a similar value. That's why I spent all that time on zombifying.
Anyway, a collectible won't cause any inflation.

I think people in charge of this comp had spent their time planning this . So why not just accept it even tho i know prices sucks , just treat it as having fun instead of regular crimes and training stats. Also congratz To all winners ! (:

Naturally, the big guys have the advantage - they have played for longer afterall.
But looking at this comp and the IDs of the top 10.
There was (what I would class as) four low IDs, 5 mid IDs, and 3 high IDs.
Seems pretty spread along the board if you ask me.
Of course you need some resources, like vico - but not much more.
Great work if you ask me, especially with the mentioned tweaks for next year.
The chance of collectables was also really good. Human heads are 25m on the item market, and zombie brains are 135m. As long as you don't blitz on FHCs, you're doing ok. And if you didn't find any? Hard luck, that's life - just a bit of fun for a game. You could've always attacked again to see if the next attack was a winner
The points are just a bonus.

As mentioned above, some special items don't hurt economy at all. In fact after a nice item reward I (and perhaps most people) wouldn't care about points, which I understand you don't want to give out millions of.
The earlier mentioned competition-HoF wasn't a bad idea either, in my opinion.

This was a new and interesting twist to things. I personally liked it, and the further it got in to the month, the harder it was to find civilians.
I was fortunate to get a Human head early in the competition, and proudy show it off in my display case:*
