The joy of peaceful faction is that you don't have to worry about the big guy picking on you. Yes this helps prevent factions from dying, but you know what, that is still going to happen because of the arrogant HoF faction members (not all, just the specific ones).

Let us be peaceful, we already said we like it. People war when they want to, don't force us all to do it.

I agree with this. Maybe an option avaialbe is to "throw down the gauntlet" to another faction to accept or the "attacking" faction gains no respect until they are attacked by "defending" faction. Thats my 19 cents worth.

honestly it sounds great but the death ratio should not be changed, because if no one dies, no one will trive to be stronger. so their faction will be lower rank and no one wants that but if the majority of the faction dies thats a big waste of time in the hospital or alot of energy wasted on revives. now no one wants to waste time energy and money on reviving so they will strive to be better always. but thats my opinion, some of u may disagree but not everything shoudl be easy when warring.

it sounds fair with the rule "4gained, 1 taken" so it would be a bit hard to take down the entire 100respect.. and because of that there will be no more faction killing

I was in a warring faction and I left because I was tired of being hosped. Despite the fact that I am much stronger now. I do not wish to war. I belong to a peaceful faction that has aided my growth in TC. Again, I do not wish to chain or play war games!

i think there terrible free respect just like inflation only now jfk has steadfast 10 in 2 months 9-10 factions will have with new upgrade faction death should be part of the game if you cant defend your faction then it should die

I picked "agree" because I feel this is a big step in the right direction. Here are a few of my qualms:

1.
When "Claim Victory" is initiated, a one month NAP will occur between the two factions. A large bonus sum of respect will also be given to the winner. The bonus sum will only be given if the loser accepts a surrender or the winner claims victory.

I envision this not happening the right way. If my faction has just been beaten, I may be loath to reward my conquerors. Of course, it certainly beats the alternative: them getting "pissed off" and destroying, etc. Likewise, I can pay a faction to lose gracefully, and thus try to use the system to my benefit and gain more respect faster (or once monthly, etc.) Of course, this just means it's an unorthodox use of the system. It's not necessarily wrong.

2.
Considering over 95% of factions wouldn't dare warring over 5 factions at a time. We think a limit of 5 faction war declares would suffice. This would make all factions pick their targets carefully. Picking factions who can and will fight back. We also consider that faction wars will be over once won, which in some cases may be quick. Chains are also on a per faction basis which can and will be broken constantly (no need to have many faction wars for big chains).

What will be the system of un-declaring war? If I decide to get started with what looks to be a beneficial and healthy war with an honest and honourable faction only to find out they're all inactive/in fed/not fighting back and making things interesting/whatever. I don't see this as a huge problem, but it's annoying having to wait for some boring people who never log in to finally drop out of the warbase.

As you can see, my only issue with the system as proposed are slight, so I hope it is clear why I voted in favour of change. I'm sure all wrinkles will be ironed out soon, were it to be accepted.

This looks like a system I can enjoy greatly! I remember my favourite war was one against a larger and active faction, where we needed to be bold in our attacks, swift with our vengeance, and quick on our strategy to even come close to winning. I was so glad to finally have adversaries I could enjoy! It wasn't a friendly war, and it was exciting. I see more of that in the future. Perhaps I will see more of this happy enmity in the months to come?

Sure we don't like the limitation of not being able to do some of the OCs, but we like it even less to being "forced" to go to war.

I won't agree with any change leading to being forced to go to war just because some people are power/respect hungry and want to just attack everything that move(and sometime, everything that doesn't) just for they own fun and profit without thinking about the fact their victims want to have fun too.

The possibility that factions can die, even if it's not rewarding for the attacking faction WILL lead to abuses. There is no if. There is no maybe. It's certain. Therefore, it's dangerous for the enjoyment of a lot of players. Some will just destroy factions because they think they aren't fit to exists(Not enough members, too low levels members and the like).

My opinion and suggestion on the matter is: Leave the peaceful faction be, open more possibilites to them, but don't force them to do anything if they don't want to. I think every faction should be able to dabble in wars if they want to without any long time commitment, and then return to peaceful status once a war is done if they don't like it.

Leaving every player and faction choosing the way they want to play is far better than forcing them into something they don't want.

Some will want to war all the time. Some will want to do it occasionaly. Some won't do it at all. If they all can co-exist, then, you will have achieved greatness.

Otherwise, it will be painful... In many ways... I think you know better than anyone what people can do if they want to win at all cost... And in the end, the ones who suffer are rarely the ones who deserve it.
