| There have been some small changes which you will only notice if the person you are busting is a much higher level than you or if they are in for a very long amount of time. People who have high dexterity shouldn't notice a difference. |
and whats high dex concerning this matter?

yer, its good, but seen as im such a low level, its a wee bit harder for me now lol 100 dex doesnt help much :)

ched you made a big change not small lol i cannot still bust, btw some of the staff replying to bug reports used to say "you get to used to it", that was anoying, and now you say yhat it was a bug! there are some staff who have no knowledge!

It's much harder for me to bust now, and my dex is a lot higher than before when busting was easier.
hmmm...

too bad about the bugs but i do like that u have made busting harder i havent tried it since the time of the bug but im glad things are starting to revert how they used to be where people stay in jail like they are supposed too

That high dex level had better friggin not be 250+ K dex - yet another friggin advantage for the druiggies (as if they don't already have it easy enough)...

I think busting has been made a bit to hard. I could bust people around my lvl 25 to 30 on a pretty good clip Now it's hard busting 26,27,28,29,30. I could bust the people with 300 plus minutes/6 hours no problem now it's almost been made impossible. I have pretty good dex to.
It's strange I worked my way up to being able to bust those lvls and now it's set so I can't break those lvls. Seems to me it hurts those of us who worked their way up to being able to bust those lvls
Isn't there a way you could grandfather the change in. Like give the harder busting to the newer players let those in my lvls be able to bust the people we were able to bust before and of coarse the really high lvels have no problems because they have earned it.

Same here - busting simply isn't worth it if you can't even bust someone near your level who's in for doing crimes you'd be doing too...
Tweaking here and there is fine, but using jail busts to boost your crime exp looks like a thing of the past now.
There'd be a lot of people who were gunning for a merit or a 35/40 nerve bar who'd pissed right now... lol

try busting people just a few levels below your own and who have low time left guys seems to work ok for me.

What is the definition of "relatively low dex" though???
Like I said earlier if it's 200+K dex (which is only possible if you're a druggie or level 40+ (maybe not even that low) then that's flat out BS - druggies get enough of an advantage as it is...
I'm not really whingeing because when I first started busting was hard as well, but it's not hard to see how having someone "inform" you of how the new busting system works in such a vague and superflous fashion wouldn't really help ease people's frustration much...
(after all it was a pretty drastic change, all things being equal)

well i for one am glad to see more people in jail - this is supposed to be a city of crime and until the change was implemented, when ever i took a look in the jail it was empty. just look at like this the change addresses an unblanced feature of the game and now we all have some new things to learn when it comes to busting. plus means you have to train some dex rather than just your speed

thanks ched i love the changes..... before i could harldy bust cause no one was ever in jail... sure it harder to bust but if you choose according to your capability you can bust quite regularly without having to keep refreshing and waiting for someone to saty in jail for a few sec's.......... thanks again love the changes...

You take a trip down to the Torncity jail and take a look at the captives.
There is no one in jail at this time.
Busting is still to easy, they should make it harder so we all have something to work towards. Its jail ffs, its not suppose to be this easy to get out.
I still remember the days where you had to beg your friends to bust you or go into irc and pay someone to bust you, aahhhh the good old days

It SHOULD be hard to bust someone out of jail...otherwise, what's the point of having a jail in the first place? This is a crime game, isn't it? Great update in my opinion.
