I personally want the original award/merit system back and keep the honors. if not that then refund ALL merits. why did you guys change the original award/merit system anyways? i just dont understand

since the new merit system was introduced, i spent them to increase my stats. before, my stats would increase by a certain number per my level.
it doesn't seem to be working like that for me anymore.
i would prefer it if the merit system was returned to the way it was. lose the fancy graphics and whatnot.
i loved the game the way it was. old school.

This should include the incremental merits, as since the new system we might have wanted to use our merits on better things than the ones we have used so far, because we never had these as an option before...

Absolutely not.
You cant just give back merits every time you make a change in game play. Leave it the way it is. If someone didn't use merits on life back then its there own fault.

I think we should go the whole hog and make it so EVERYTHING can be reversed,i buy a stat enhancer to dear..I can get my cash back..I play BJ and lose i can go back and get my cash..i attack someone and lose..i can go back and unlose..never again will you make a wrong choice,that would rock

the new life merit thing is bs.....its not my fault you dumbass's wasted your merits on crap stuff.

Everyone who has been bitching about HP had the chance to use their merits on HP at the same time as i used mine....Its not our fault that they didnt use them....
How about giving members the choice to have the merits returned or keep them there.

Makes me laugh, I chose to play my game a certain way. They didn't play the same and now they wish they had so it's going to screw smart people in the process.
And its really not making it fair to all, Next step would be to give everyone Bodybaggers stats to cut all the crying because his stats are so high.
We worked for where we are now.....Why should it be taken away because of others not getting their merits used in time.
Ched can either bring back the 1 merit = Level*50 option for users or don't bother changing anything.
People made their bed, They should lay in that bed and quit all the god damn crying.

it's amoazing you have thousands of worthless posts without me ever seeing one that was worth the time to read.
back on topic i understand the fairness aspect. BB with 500k like (which will grow every time he levels) has a massive advantage. i understand that his stats are massive so it won't affect if i can ever beat him. however, Valesh is beatable and has huge life. if i pop him with 200k i should normally win. with 300k plus life i'd need to get in 2 hits.
in thsi game there are things that are unfair. people complain about the stock market and the amount of money people have amassed. with hard work you can always catch up in theory. slick rick and jimmy james have proven that if you find the right niche you can always get into the game. this is the same with stats and stat enhancers. however, right now there is no way to catch up in life that can be purchased. you can only get to 10/10 life and never beyond that.
on being able to refund merits: its easy you see the total earned and subtract the ones still visible in the system and return the difference.

Upon further reflection I have decided that if you are seriously thinking about doing something of this nature, why not leave it up to the individual player to make his decision if he wants to keep what he has already or wants to be a part of the group that has merits returned? Kind of like a class action suit where you can opt-in or out. That way it is truly once again squarely in the individual hands of each player to make their own choice on which is the best way to spend their merits.

I couldnt possibly disagree more Rob. The only people being silly and defending your position are (surprise) people that benefited from the previous system.
How can you possibly say its unfair that they are evening the playing field? Other then the fact that you yourself would lose out on something that EVERYONE else will too
