I hate them, I can't open them in a new page/tab, and it's hard to read.
Why not just set them as a profile thing, so people don't have to be hindered by it? When I say profile, I don't mean on their main name, I mean, under the picture or at the bottom of the profile page.

They would be ok if you had actually thought it through and enlarged the fonts or put them next to or beside the name. The way it is makes it almost impossible to read them in lists such as employee list or faction member list etc. Really hard to find anyone when in South Africa etc since it takes forever to load a page with hundreds of them. Then after the page loads you dang near go blind trying to read through hundreds of names in small text distorted by background honors.
Like most updates to torn...a brilliant idea was poorly implemented in a hurry and causes more problems that will never get fixed while you are too busy poorly implementing the next round of "upgrades".
Slow down, repair the problems you already have, then and only then take your time and do it right next time.

I'd love to brag some of my earned honors, but it's very hard to read the names and many people have the same honors displayed. It looks annoying that way. Plus, I don't know what honor is for what even though I earned it!

I'd like the option to disable them.
The page takes considerably longer to load with them, names are hard to read and my eyes hurt when there are a lot of them, and right-clicking doesn't work which is really annoying.

Someone might have already suggested this but what about just adding a button to disable them? I love them, the fonts could be a bit bigger though like some people said.

i love them in the forumw,jail ect.. but there just pointless in the mail it just makes it look untidy and totally unesessary

How about showing them on players' profiles such in Medals (previously konwn as Awards). Could limit the number you can show at max, say 5. Just an idea.

I love them.
One thing that could change is the option to open up names in new tabs when in the faction/hospital and jail pages.

I would like to see an option in the Graphic or Fun and Games or Suggestion forum were players can create their own, submit them, then get chosen if good enough and added to the "Honors Banner Market" -
Depending on how good they are, they would be available for purchase.
The person who creates them (got chosen) gets awarded points (25 points) then the banner goes onto the Banner Market for players to purchase say 250k-1mil per banner. Once purchased it will be available in the Honor selection section, under “Custom Banners” - were you equip it.

They would be good, but they are extremely hard to read when you're using mobile. So if you can change that, I'm completely on board with it

It may simply be a font choice, but with the background illustrations the names become meaningless. I can't make out the names, certainly not at a glance (yes, I wear glasses). One resolution would even be to have the image change to a shot of the player id on a plain background as an option maybe?
Dunno, I went with dislike, not for any other reason than it interferes with my ability to play.

I really like the whole idea of them, and certainly think that there should be space for people to display them. E.g. At the top of peoples forum posts.
Though elsewhere I'm not entirely convinced, especially as you can visably see them all loading and how they are cropped down in the forums.

I think they are alright BUT: it must be possible to right click - open in new tab them otherwise they are very irritating, also they should be optional to disable.

I hate them on players names. I can't read the names anymore. It takes forever to load screens with lists of players names. This sucks for us players who can't afford fast internet connections. It was difficult before this update to get the choice points because of my slow connection, but now it is impossiable.
I agree with the person I quoted that if we choose to keep these they shouldn't be on the names. Alot of us players play these mostly text type games because our slow connections work fine with very little graphics. The game is fun to play. When more and more things keep getting add our enjoyment of the game goes away because it becomes frustrateing. Another option might be to have a setting in preferences to enable and disable viewing of honor backgrounds. Just like the profile sigs setting.
