R+, not only that you are interested in our decisions, but it would be nice to keep such a feature in the game which helps provide more "colour" to the game (Voted for option 1).

I can't read the font..when you add a honor to the background, it makes the font easier for me to read but still needs to be bigger. I like the idea of displaying honors of our choice but it does take longer to load the pages now. It also makes the pages hard on the eyes with all the conglomeration of added color and I have to squint to actually try and make out whos who in all the mess...still rated liked because of the idea, maybe modified it would be cool.

I'm downloading a 4 gig file atm and the pages are still loading at the same normal speed with no slow downo_O

They would be great if they didnt slow my computer to a crawl every time I wanted to go to those pages. So until I have a way to turn them off in preferences or get higher speed internet I had to vote hate them for now.

They're ok. Some of the images are a bit messy or hard to figure out, and the names on top of some can be hard to read. Plenty of room for improvement, and I like the idea.

I hate them as well. Most of them make the text harder to read. All names now look so generic as is with the new block type letters they're hard enough to read, let alone with the busy backgrounds behind them.
If they stay, please give us a way to turn them off. Turning off the new block letters in names would be optimal too.
Edit: I just tried to block them with adblock, but it also blocks the names, seems names are now part of the image. Nice idea, but really terrible execution if so many are having difficulty reading the names.

I like them, but i find that they cause my net to lag up alot when im playing torn.
Is there a way we can have them if we choose to but we can turn them off if we want too.Maybe put a link in Preferences.

too hard to give users the option to convert to a text name?
still think it would be sweet to make it a full/mobile thing and do that with all your images.
also would love to see the faction tag back, granted you could do it and keep the images though it really needs to be put back to use.

I really hate complaining cuz I'm sure it was hard to do all that work...............................but I hate them.......I just can't read my company names to train......or names of friends in jail to bust.
I love the idea...but can't read them.....going blind........aaaargh

It looks nice, but it makes pages load slowly and since the names are now rendered with images, it doesn't let you use Ctlr or Cmd + F to search for names through the page.
I used to like Torn because it was light on images, now it seems to be going the entirely opposite direction.
Oh well...

I find it fairly difficult to read the names on those images, they seem to be about 7 pixels tall which is really small, even for my 20/20 vision. I can not imagine how anyone with less than 20/20 can read them at all.
Otherwise, I like them.

I like the flags and the island badge. Many of the other ones make the text very difficult to read and I have pretty good eyesight.
And just because this is a browser-based game, it doesn't mean that the site has to look like ass. This game looked bad when I started playing it, and things haven't improved very much. Some of the graphics here looks better lately, but please consider freshening up everything in one cohesive style.
