After a busy few weeks, having lost count of the number of sleepless nights and heavily caffeinated drinks consumed, we’ve finally released our new look, the official Torn blog, and the official Torn Wiki.
Alongside this, we’ve also added a new Torn Introduction video, a live events viewer – awesome (if we do say so ourselves), and heaps of other feature improvements, and we hope you’re as impressed as we are!
It was time for a new front page, the old one had served us well; but it was time for some spring cleaning! We hope this doesn’t come as too much of a shock to you all, we’re going to be updating this and tailoring everything until it’s perfect –we’re going to need your help!
To the new homepage, we’ve added a lot of new pre-login content which we hope will bring lots of new players to the game, and help boost our search engine rankings. After hours of being locked into a cupboard, our very own genius (Davz) managed to create a live events viewer, showing instant in game activity. Everything that goes on is now pumped directly to the home page!
We’ve got a new Torn blog, yep the one you’re on now! We’ll be updating this frequently with all sorts of information, images, news, thoughts on subjects, annoyances, game development, pretty much anything and everything to do with Torn, so make sure you continue to check it out.
We’ve made a few updates to the casino. After months of teasing, we’ve been testing chess, and, (drum roll please) a beta version is almost ready for deployment. Follow the forums, news, and of course here for further updates. We’ve also made a number of developments to our poker system which should all help to make everything smoother.
The Torn Wiki – we’ve got a snazzy new help site, and we’re going to need your assistance to build this into a plethora of Torn information. This will contain everything from guides to support new players, improved help tutorials, FAQs, as well as other material. If you want to help us populate this, head over to the wiki page and logon using your Torn username and password. Note – for those that put a lot of effort into this there is the potential for a ‘Torn Wiki admin’.
We’ll constantly be rolling out updates and improvements. If you think we’re missing something, head to the suggestions forum and make your voice heard there. If you think you’ve got what it takes to be the Torn Wiki admin, get to the Wiki page and start adding entries left, right and centre. For further updates, remember to watch this space, the forums, and the news.
