It’s been a busy few weeks but today we launched our new look, official Torn blog and official Torn WIKI. We hope you like?
Also bundled into this release we’ve launched a new Torn City video, live events viewer (very cool), a chess game in beta mode and heaps of other feature improvements.
As online RPG games are becoming more and more popular, we need to ensure our game provides more than the average MMORPG. You guys (and girls) play a huge part in the success of the game and we’d like to hear your thoughts on the new design, so feel free to comment below.

I think the new look is awesome and its a great into video.
Regeneration of Energy and Nerve bar is a part of this game i am not happy about. It takes ages to refill and makes this game slower. If these things are a bit fast, it would certainly help you guys to get player’s bum stuck on their seats…….Wish you could look into this thing and help regenerate energy and nerve bar quicker

Now the homepage is cooler than the actual game. Colour scheme needs to be through and through, put a background to the gameplay. Grey is boring.

don’t change the backround of the game, anything other than grey would be distracting.
i’m not sure about the main page, i find it a bit too much, but if it brings new players in, then great!

The new log in page looks great and i think u guys need to extend that to the rest of the pages also. It would go a long way to encouraging loyalty to the game as Leigh said. I also agree with Ankit…nerve and energy regeneration could use a bit of work to be faster as it does slow ur progress in the game down dramatically.
Pricing of goods also need to be a little more realistic also….some things r too cheap others are ridiculously expensive…it needs to be balanced with wat money is actually earned as in on crimes and jobs. Other than the above mentioned…im enjoying my TC experience and look forward to the other improvements n changes in the future.
Grey is not boring , it’s leave space to your fantasy , how you see Torn City … more pictures or background spoil the beauty !

I love it! been addicted to the game nearly 3 years now! Love the new website look and feel for login etc. Each and every update to the game over the years has definately improved the game and excitement for me! Looking forward to more new stuff! Keep up the great work, the late nights are all worth it! Trust me! P.S. Nevermind about Ankit’s comment.. bout nerve n refill e… his obviously not into realtime games and prob a noob at that!! Thats what makes torn so good!

I love it so much.
Personally I think this is bull, TC was incredible back in the day, then images started populating the interface, not a big deal, eventually it became like any other browser based game, graphics started being more and more wide spread and eventually unnecessary features started being added (the chat tabs at the bottom of the page, java, etc.). I realize this is going to sound like nothing more than an older player bitching about how great it used to be back in the day but it was. TC had character, Torn seems to be doing nothing more than pandering to the lowest common denominator.
That is my honest opinion and I’m sure I’ll get plenty of haters but I had to say it. The above comments seemed like nothing more than a shallow circle jerk. I started playing this game in the final years of High School and am now well into college I’m probably just being nostalgic.
Ah – thanks for pointing this out! Tired eyes wrote that I’m sure, I’ll edit it now!
I love the new front page but, I also agree that’s where it belongs in the front.
